MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are asking for the public’s help locating a 38-year-old father and his 3-year-old son who have not been seen since Monday.
Authorities say they are concerned for the well-being of Anthony LaRoque and his son, Amias LaRoque, as the search continues.
Father and Son Last Seen Monday
According to Minneapolis police, Anthony and Amias LaRoque have not been seen since Monday. They were last believed to be in the area of the 600 block of Jackson Street Northeast or the 3000 block of 39th Avenue South.
Police have released descriptions of both father and son in hopes that someone may recognize them or have information about their whereabouts.
Anthony LaRoque is described as:
- 38 years old
- About 6 feet, 3 inches tall
- Approximately 180 pounds
- Black hair
- Green eyes
Police say he was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and red boxers, with a long black-and-white lanyard hanging from his pocket.
Description of 3-Year-Old Amias
Amias LaRoque is 3 years old and is described as approximately 2 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 30 pounds.
He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Police say the boy was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and khaki short overalls.
Police Cite Upcoming Custody Court Date
Authorities said Anthony LaRoque has a child custody court date scheduled for Thursday.
Police have not publicly provided additional details about the circumstances surrounding the disappearance or indicated where the father and son may have gone.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen either Anthony or Amias, or who has information that could help locate them, to contact authorities.
