The North Branch Police Department is looking for help to identify the owner/driver of a black Buick LaCrosse involved in a hit-and-run that injured a child last month.
The driver of the car reportedly hit a child on Ash Street near Ash Court on Feb. 17 around 3:20 p.m., law enforcement said.
Police didn’t provide a description of the driver, but said there would possibly be damage to the car’s passenger-side mirror or right side of the vehicle.
North Branch police added that the child is expected to make a full recovery.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to call police at 651-674-8848 or dispatch at 651-257-4100.
