The strongest material of the episode belonged to Anna Devane and Valentin Cassadine.
Anna finally opened up about what happened with Britt and admitted just how deeply troubled she has become. Her guilt over nearly killing Britt has been eating away at her, and the conversation with Valentin gave the storyline the emotional weight it needed.
