If you thought Odell Beckham Jr was done, retired, chilling somewhere sipping smoothies and posting throwback highlights, think again, because OBJ just kicked the offseason door open like, “Miss me yet?”
Yes, the legend wants BACK in the NFL. And not just anywhere, he’s aiming straight for a Hollywood-style reunion with the New York Giants. That’s right. Back to where the magic happened, back to where defenders were getting embarrassed on live TV. But wait, it gets better.
Odell Beckham Jr isn’t just trying to return quietly. He’s already picturing himself catching passes from Jaxson Dart like this is some kind of football reboot nobody asked for, but everybody would watch anyway.
And honestly? The vision is wild.
Odell spoke with Kay Adams afterward and shared his hopes for what’s to come.
“Looking forward to hopefully getting an opportunity to play this year, and hopefully, this is kinda just a starting point,” Beckham told Adams.
Beckham was then asked about whether he’d want to return and play with the Giants, who feature second-year QB Jaxson Dart.
“That sounds great,” Beckham said. “If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that. Be excited about that. He’s a good dude. He’s young, and he likes to dance. I like all that. So he looks like he likes to have fun. If I get that opportunity.”
One catch, one moment and one viral clip. That’s all it takes for everyone to start screaming his name again like it’s 2015.
So now we wait.
Will the Giants answer the call? Will Dart actually get his OBJ moment or is this just another episode of “Almost Comebacks: NFL Edition”?
Either way, OBJ has already done what he does best.
