Florida has done it again. Just when you think the “Florida Woman” headlines can’t get any wilder, along comes Nicolette Keough to raise the bar, and then absolutely destroy it.
So here’s the situation. Keough was arrested after allegedly turning Airbnb rentals into her own personal chaos playground. Not satisfied with just staying in the homes like a normal human being, she reportedly filmed herself trashing the place. And by trashing, we don’t mean leaving dishes in the sink. We mean full-on destruction mode.
According to reports, she damaged household items worth around $5,000. Furniture, appliances, you name it. If it existed in the rental, it apparently stood no chance, but wait, it gets even better or worse.
She didn’t just destroy the place for fun, there was a business plan here. Keough allegedly filmed herself peeing on items and posted the clips online for money. Yes, you read that right. Somewhere, someone thought, “You know what this Airbnb lamp needs? Content.”
It’s the kind of story that makes Airbnb hosts want to immediately change their locks, install ten cameras, and maybe just sell the house altogether.
Nicolette Keough – flashing a devilish grin in her mugshot – was reported to cops after the horrified Pensacola Airbnb owner found videos of the vile guest peeing on various objects, including a coffee maker, toaster, typewriter, TV, a rug, and chairs, according to a police report obtained by WEAR.
“There was a young lady inside making money in a very unusual way that damaged somebody else’s property,” Pensacola police officer Mike Wood told the outlet.
“There’s a list of items including a television, a record player, a coffee pot, some bedding, some carpeting, I believe, and a rug.”
After being tipped off through the Airbnb app that her guest was urinating on multiple items in her units, the rental owner allegedly found the shocking pee-for-cash videos posted on an “adult content website,” the court documents said, WKRG reported.
The disgusted victim said the unhinged suspect left behind a strong stench and caused about $3,980 in damage to furniture and other items in one unit, with another $1,374 reported in the other.
People have fetish but Nicolette Keough’s is wild and crazy.
An antique Crown Royal chair, rug, typewriter, four dining chairs, coffee pot, bed, TV, record player, and an electric fireplace are just some of the items ruined and now need replacing, the outlet reported.
The victim said a vase, green rug, accent wall, chair, and a tiger rug were also peed on.
Keough, 31, was arrested on March 15 and hit with criminal mischief charges.
She was reportedly booked and later released on bond.
At the end of the day, this is one of those stories that feels made up, but isn’t. It’s messy, bizarre, and somehow very on-brand for Florida headlines.
Moral of the story? If you’re booking an Airbnb, maybe stick to using it for sleeping. And if you’re hosting one, maybe, just maybe, keep an eye on your stuff.
