NASCAR at Martinsville: Start time, TV, lineup for Cook Out 400

The Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway, the first short‑track oval of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series, starts at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1 and will be a 400‑lap, 210.4‑mile race. The field includes defending winner Denny Hamlin, recent Darlington victor Tyler Reddick and a lineup of 23 drivers across Toyota, Chevrolet and Ford.

After two weeks away, Tyler Reddick made his return to victory lane last week at Darlington in dominant fashion. The Lady in Black wasn’t too much for the 23XI Racing driver as he continues his outlier start to the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Reddick overcame alternator and cool suit issues to make it four wins in six races at the Goodyear 400. He’ll have to try continuing that streak in a much different configuration this weekend.History in Darlington: Tyler Reddick joins elite group with Goodyear 400 victory

The Cup Series heads to its first short rack oval of 2026 this weekend with a visit to Martinsville Speedway for the Cook Out 400. The 0.526-mile track is one of the faster laps in the Cup Series season; Ross Chastain managed it in 18.845 seconds in his infamous “Hail Melon” lap from the 2022 Xfinity 500.

Defending race winner Denny Hamlin made it to victory lane two weeks ago. He could hold off Reddick once again from pole position. Or another short-track standout like Ryan Blaney or Kyle Larson could earn a win in a format they’re comfortable with.

Here’s how to watch all the action of the Cook Out 400:
