On the March 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin defeated The Dogs in tag team action. After the match, David Finlay attacked Cassidy and Allin, joining forces with Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors in All Elite Wrestling.
Following this attack, Finlay, Kidd and Connors were officially announced as the newest members of the AEW roster.
With The Dogs looking to take over AEW, it feels like the group may add some new stars to their ranks in the coming weeks and months.
Here are seven more AEW stars to potentially join new signings David Finlay and The Dogs.
7. Juice Robinson

During their time in New Japan Pro Wrestling, David Finlay and Juice Robinson came up in the promotion together starting in the NJPW dojo at the same time.
Graduating from the dojo to the roster of the promotion, Finlay and Juice became a tag team called FinJuice.
Over the course of several years, FinJuice was able to win the IWGP Tag Team Championships and the 2019 World Tag League tournament.
6. The Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn)

Since debuting in All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Colten and Austin Gunn have grown into one of the more consistent tag teams in the company.
Starting as fodder for other duos, The Gunns became a featured act and won the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Colten and Austin are now members of the Bang Bang Gang alongside Jay White, Juice Robinson and Ace Austin.
David Finlay and The Dogs could infiltrate the former Bullet Club Gold members to their side and bring The Gunns into their ranks to bolster their stable right now.
5. Ace Austin

The newest member of the Bang Bang Gang who was added to the group towards the tailend of 2025 was Ace Austin.
Signing with All Elite Wrestling in August 2025, Austin looked to be someone who felt tailored for the company’s in-ring style.
However, Ace has not been featured all that much on AEW programming over the past six months.
Joining The Dogs, Austin could find himself with a more featured role on the company’s television and bring out an aggressive side of his persona.
4. The Butcher & The Blade

The Butcher and The Blade have not competed in tag team competition since 2024.
Both men in the duo suffered injuries that have kept them sidelined over the past two years.
Most recently, The Butcher took to social media to address the tag team’s absence from All Elite Wrestling and stated that he wants to see them make a return.
The Butcher and The Blade joining The Dogs might help to get them a clear and consistent role on AEW TV sooner rather than later.
3. Keith Lee

Another AEW star who has not appeared on the company’s television for over two years is Keith Lee.
“The Limitless One” is someone who was viewed as a future top star upon signing with the promotion in 2022.
However, some lingering back injuries led to Lee being sidelined and not appearing on AEW programming since December 2023.
Bringing Keith Lee back into the fold, David Finlay and The Dogs could garner some size and intimidation to their unit to further establish the stable in the company.
2. Brody King

2026 has seen a huge push for Brody King, who has been elevated to the main event picture of the company.
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2022, Brody has achieved a lot, including being a former AEW World Tag Team Champion with Bandido and a former AEW World Trios Champion with House of Black.
King is known for his strong views, intimidating presence and his signature barking that the fans have caught on to.
Being known for his barking, it makes sense if Brody joins The Dogs as the enforcer of the group, helping them to further solidify their position in All Elite Wrestling.
1. Thekla

Someone who has had ties to The Dogs during their days in New Japan Pro Wrestling is Thekla.
Most recently, Thekla appeared in Clark Connors and The Knockout Brothers’ corner during the New Japan Ranbo at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20.
While “The Toxic Spider” is part of the Triangle of Madness, she might be better suited for David Finlay and The Dogs in AEW right now.
With her connection and real life friendship with Connors, Thekla could help to elevate David Finlay and The Dogs in the company with her current reign as AEW Women’s World Champion.
