With the Minnesota Timberwolves winning their series against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night, the Minnesota Lynx’s home-opener has been rescheduled, KSTP Sports has learned.
As is the case for a number of teams that share venues, the postseason of one league can sometimes interfere with the schedules of teams in another league.
Such is the case for the Lynx, who were initially scheduled to have their home and regular-season opener against the Atlanta Dream on May 10 but will now move that up a day to Saturday, May 9.
The Timberwolves are scheduled to host Game 4 of their second-round playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs on May 10 and have precedence over the Lynx.
