After burnishing Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ action standing with The Bluff and seeing it atop Amazon Prime’s globally most-watched films for a second week, the film’s producers AGBO have acquired a new film to be scripted by The Bluff co-writers Frank E. Flowers and Joe Ballarini. The deal cracks the seven figures, to be split by the writers.
The project is untitled, and AGBO would not divulge plot, but like The Bluff, it’s an original that will be mounted on a big scale. Flowers directed The Bluff, but it isn’t clear who’ll helm the new one.
The Bluff stars Chopra Jonas as a former pirate captain who hung up her sword for a tranquil life until her sea captain is kidnapped by a former nemesis.
Flowers’ credits include Bob Marley: One Love, and Ballarini’s include A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting.
Flowers is repped by UTA, Brillstein, and Goodman Genow; Ballarini is Verve and McKuin Frankel.
