The Actor Awards, the new name of the SAG-AFTRA’s SAG Awards, unveiled nominations for its 2026 edition on Wednesday. Check out the full list of nominees below.
The marquee Motion Picture Ensemble category features a who’s who of what’s been leading the awards-season conversation so far: Netflix‘s Frankenstein, Focus Features’ Hamnet, A24’s Marty Supreme, and the Warner Bros duo One Battle After Another and Sinners.
A total of 15 categories — six in motion pictures, nine in TV — are up for grabs, including in the Best Actor movie race, where Marty Supreme star Timothée Chalamet is up again after winning last year’s SAG Award for playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. He will be up this time against One Battle‘s Leonardo DiCaprio, Blue Moon‘s Ethan Hawke, Sinners‘ Michael B. Jordan, and Bugonia‘s Jesse Plemons.
In the Best Actress movie race, the nominees are Hamnet‘s Jessie Buckley, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’s Rose Byrne, Song Sung Blue‘s Kate Hudson, One Battle‘s Chase Infiniti, and Bugonia‘s Emma Stone.
This marks the latest and largest Hollywood guild to weigh in on the movie awards season, which has been dominated so far by the 1-2 punch of Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, both from Warner Bros. One Battle, which is coming off a Best Picture win at Sunday’s Critics’ Choice Awards, leads all films today with seven individual noms, followed by Sinners with five. It gave Warners a leading 13 noms overall, followed by Focus with six and A24 with four.
Last year, Conclave won the Ensemble prize on its way to eight Oscar nominations, including for Best Picture.
On the TV side, Apple TV’s The Studio, the reigning Emmy comedy champ, leads all Actors nominees with five, including an Ensemble nom along with ABC’s Abbott Elementary, Hulu’s The Bear, HBO Max’s Hacks, and last year’s defending comedy champion Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.
In Drama Ensemble, the nominees are Netflix’s The Diplomat, Paramount+’s Landman, HBO Max’s The Pitt, which won the Emmy in the category, Apple TV’s Severance, and HBO’s The White Lotus. Last year, Shōgun swept through the field.
There’s no Actors Awards category for limited series ensemble, but Netflix’s Emmy champ Adolescence picked up four individual noms today, for Owen Cooper, Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty, and Christine Tremarco.
Abbott Elementary‘s Janelle James and Heated Rivalry‘s Connor Storrie handled the announcement this morning, which streamed live on Netflix. Winners will be announced in a ceremony on Sunday, March 1, that will be livestreamed on Netflix. Harrison Ford will receive the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, the guild’s highest honor recognizing career and humanitarian accomplishments, during that ceremony.
