A former school secretary from Colorado, Brenda Meza, is now at the center of some seriously disturbing allegations. And before we even get into the details, let’s be clear, this isn’t your usual messy headline, this is heavy, uncomfortable, and honestly just sad all around.
According to reports, Meza is accused of having an inappropriate and illegal relationship with a 13-year-old student. Not only that, but she allegedly made comparisons between the student’s sexual prowess and her own husband. Yes, you read that right!
The boy told cops he thought her remark was “corny” but went along with it.
The twisted secretary has been on the lam ever since she got wind that police were investigating her for allegedly plying the boy with booze and weed during predatory sex sessions at a park and a Walmart parking lot.
Police in Greeley have been unable to locate Meza ever since they first questioned her over the disturbing allegations.
During that interview, Meza had allegedly confessed to grooming the boy after he found her Instagram during Thanksgiving break last year, and they started sending each other nudes, cops said.
“Show me ur one thing and I will decide what to send u,” Meza had texted the boy, and sent him photos of her buttocks and breasts in response to pictures of his genitals, the affidavit states.
The secretary and the boy then met up in January in a Walmart parking lot, where they downed BuzzBallz ready-to-drink cocktails and marijuana edibles before having sex for the first time, the complaint states.
She allegedly had sex with the boy twice more over the next few weeks.
The administrator, who is also accused of sending a flurry of “I love you” texts to him, told the boy she got jealous if she saw him talking to female classmates around the school, according to the affidavit.
This is definitely a wild and messy situation, and it’s our hope that Meza would be arrested from her hiding place to face justice.
Immediately after being confronted by school officials, Meza allegedly went home and confessed to her husband that she “got high” and had creepy interactions with the teen, the affidavit says.
Her jilted hubby then called the police.
At first, the school employee tried to minimize the creepy situation, telling cops that she and the boy “got super close to each other” — “almost the point of having sex.”
She later admitted to having intercourse with the boy in the back seat of her car outside of Walmart and Ramseier Park, according to the docs.
Meza, who also confessed to knowing the boy’s age, had insisted he keep their relationship under wraps – even texting him at one point, “This can get me fired,” according to the docs.
During questioning, she said she had deleted the nudes – including four X-rated pictures of the boy – from her phone, because she didn’t want her husband to see them.
When police pulled over Meza’s husband during a traffic stop on March 11, he claimed he didn’t know where his wife was – and that he was on his way down to the Mexican border.
Police are seeking to charge her with 12 felonies, including sexual assault of a child, internet luring of a child, and tampering with physical evidence, as well as one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
One thing is certain: this case is going to keep unfolding, and when it does, expect even more twists, more reactions, and a lot more people asking the same question: “How did it even get this far?”
