Police say two teenagers are recovering after they were shot Monday night in Bloomington.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, the shooting was reported around 10:10 p.m. on Bloomington Avenue South between 80th Street and American Boulevard.
A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS camera at the scene captured Bloomington police and Hennepin County deputies taping off a townhome development across from the Hilton Garden Inn.
Two victims, a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, had both been wounded by gunfire and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Neither victim’s injuries are considered life-threatening. The girl has since been released from the hospital, and the boy remains stable, police said.
Authorities believe everyone involved in the shooting knew each other.
Police did not say how many suspects were involved, and no arrests have been announced.
