In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” K. Michelle opens up about the medical issues a past surgery has cost her. Porsha and Kelli’s tension worsens. Here are the highlights for “Rumors and Raised Eyebrows.”
Kelli is accused of sleeping with a married man.
Porsha and Kelli have a sit-down in front of K. Michelle. Porsha tells Kelli that she’s been coming at her ever since she became closer to Shamea. Kelli doesn’t see it that way. Regardless, Porsha confronts Kelli for saying she needed to stop trying to sleep with people’s husbands during last season’s after-show.
Porsha says Kelli should stop coming for her when she was told that Kelli allegedly slept with a married man herself. Kelli denies sleeping with a married man. In response, Porsha claims one of Dennis’ friends told her that Kelli allegedly slept with one of his married friends. The married man allegedly told him this.
Kelli and Porsha hug it out for now, but the bad blood between them is still there.
K. Michelle is a married woman.
Pinky and her husband, Derrick, are both successful restaurant owners. Slutty Vegan is the company that made Pinky wealthy. She created the business while she was living in her two-bedroom apartment several years ago. It became worth over $100 million. However, there were some stumbles, and Pinky lost her company and had to buy it back. She is now in the process of fixing her brand and handling the debt. And it hasn’t been easy.
K. Michelle and her husband Kastan, have been friends since they were in junior high school. Kastan is a dentist. In a confessional, K. Michelle says they got married recently. She was going to marry another man until Kastan finally stepped up and made her his wife.
Kelli has more to say about Porsha.
When Kelli recaps her meeting with Porsha to Angela and Shamea, she refers to Porsha as “Whorsha.” In a confessional, she says she wasn’t wrong to say Porsha needs to stop stealing husbands, considering how things unfolded with Simon.
After Porsha introduces her “lady friend” Sway, Angela tells Porsha what Kelli had to say behind her back. In response, Porsha says she will not be attending Kelli’s upcoming restaurant reopening. Porsha feels like Kelli is fake because she was under the impression that they were moving forward after they hugged.
Drew and Shamea make peace.
Shamea’s mother plays the peacemaker between Shamea and Drew at Kelli’s reopening event. Although Drew felt like Shamea’s YouTube apology wasn’t authentic, Shamea says she never apologizes if she doesn’t mean it. She didn’t intend to hurt Drew last season, and she wants to let it go.
K. Michelle has a medical emergency on the night of her performance at the Academy of Country Music Honors. She finds out she has an infection from the illegal silicone injections she got in her bottom years ago. Her doctor confirms she will need reconstructive surgery to remove the damaged tissue. She breaks down in tears while discussing the health matter to her assistant. She regrets her decision very much in the present.
Her assistant consoles her, reminding K. Michelle that everyone makes a decision they later regret in life and to not be too hard on herself.
