{"id":8541,"date":"2026-05-11T11:17:45","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T16:17:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wdepradio.com\/?p=8541"},"modified":"2026-05-11T11:17:46","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T16:17:46","slug":"acso-driver-in-critical-condition-after-she-was-shot-by-an-occupant-in-another-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wdepradio.com\/?p=8541","title":{"rendered":"ACSO: Driver in critical condition after she was shot by an occupant in another vehicle"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kstp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/0509-FRIDLEY-CRASH-KSTP_BCMP01_mxf_00.13.29.58.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Anoka County Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred in Fridley, which left a woman in critical condition Saturday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the sheriff\u2019s Office, the shooting was reported around 9:03 p.m. in the area of Interstate 694 and University Avenue Northeast in Fridley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A woman had reportedly been driving an SUV when she was shot by an occupant of a separate vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SUV then left the roadway and stopped near the Interstate 694 ramp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The woman was taken to the local hospital for treatment, where she remains in critical, but stable condition. A juvenile passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, but was not injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All northbound lanes of Highway 47 were closed between Anoka County Road 102C-County Road 4 and I-694 due to the investigation, according to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/511mn.org\/map\/event\/CARSx-91975\/@-93.26364,45.06232,15?show=metroTrafficMap,roadReports,weatherWarningsAreaEvents,stationsAlert,trafficSpeeds,otherStateInfo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those roadways have since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who has information about this incident should
