Chris Noth<\/a> is revealing what led to the end of his friendship with Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip from the upcoming Jan. 26 episode of Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson<\/a>, <\/em>the actor, 71, opens up about his falling out with his former Sex and the City <\/em>co-star, 60, amid rumors of a feud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not friends, I think that\u2019s pretty obvious,\u201d he confirms, attributing Parker\u2019s response to the\u00a0multiple allegations of sexual assault\u00a0against him as the reason they no longer speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> published rape allegations from two women, with one claiming she met Noth when she was 22 in 2004 and the other in 2015 when she was 25. A third woman then came forward and told the Daily Beast<\/a> <\/em>that Noth had sexually assaulted her in 2010 when she was 18<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time, Noth denied all accounts, stating that he \u201chas and would never cross that line,\u201d and further calling the stories \u201ca complete fabrication\u201d that \u201cread like a piece of bad fiction.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after, Parker and her\u00a0SATC\u00a0<\/em>castmates,\u00a0Cynthia Nixon<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kristin Davis<\/a>, released a\u00a0statement<\/a>:\u00a0 “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do, and we commend them for it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe statement that they put out \u2014 which was nothing more than brand management, really \u2014 I don\u2019t know, it was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising,\u201d Noth explains. \u201cBecause you need to call me and hear my side of this. You\u2019ve known me for many years, and we\u2019ve worked [together] for many years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI get it, that\u2019s more Hollywood than Hollywood,\u201d he continues, publicly addressing the allegations. \u201cBut before you make that statement, you know me, you\u2019ve known me all these years, give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this. And that didn\u2019t happen, and that was too bad.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back, Noth says that there are gains and losses from the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s gained is good,\u201d he notes. \u201cYou know where people stand, and you know who your real friends are and who they\u2019re not. That\u2019s important to know.\u00a0 I just know if it had been on the other hand, I wouldn\u2019t have done that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat was hurtful, and it really affected everything,\u201d he concedes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this month, speculation about drama<\/a> between the former on-screen lovers sparked when Noth shared a photo of himself in the gym on Instagram<\/a> with the caption: “F— new years – LETS GO!!!!” Just three days prior, Parker was honored with the Golden Globes<\/a>‘ Carol Burnett Award during the CBS and Paramount primetime special Golden Eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the comments of Noth\u2019s post, one fan wrote, “You mean f— sjp & her award right? lol.” The Law & Order <\/em>alum appeared to agree with the sentiment by replying, “right.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the\u00a0SATC\u00a0<\/em>star speaking out about his sexual assault allegations in 2021, Noth was also cut from the series\u2019 revival\u00a0And Just Like That\u2026,\u00a0<\/em>which saw\u00a0his character, Mr. Big, die in the premiere episode. He was originally slated to make a return in the season 1 finale, but the scenes never aired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
