The St. Paul Police Department said it is conducting a homicide investigation Saturday after a shooting killed one person.
In an updated news release from St. Paul Police, the department said the shooting had occurred at 11:44 a.m. when callers reported gunfire in the 600th block of Park Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound who was taken to the hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
Officers set up a perimeter and began searching for a potential suspect using K9S and a drone. Police said they later located and arrested the suspect at 12:33 p.m.
