WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has commented on a current feud, noting that he wants to see this match happen at WrestleMania 42.
With just five matches confirmed for WrestleMania 42, we will soon see more announcements made for the April 18-19 show.
One match which seems destined to happen on the Show of Shows is Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu, following previous reports, as well as both men brawling and falling off the side of a building to end the March 20 edition of SmackDown.
Mark Henry reacted to this segment on Busted Open Radio, saying:
“I thought it was awesome that he got checked, that Jacob came right out and lit his ass up. I don’t think guys that this is gonna end with just them falling from a scaffolding.
“I don’t think it’s gonna end from just the time between now and when we get to ‘Mania. By the time we get to ‘Mania, this is gonna be full blown out CM Punk (vs) Roman Reigns.
“This is gonna be Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. They’ve got me to the point to where I really wanna see this take place, because it’s not just for the titles.
“It’s not just for bragging rights. It’s about pride, it’s about that man stuff. ‘You cost me my opportunity, and I’m gonna take it out your flesh.’”
Prior to SmackDown, Jacob Fatu had emphasised that this rivalry doesn’t need a title or special stipulation, so it appears that WWE intends to keep pride as the focal point of this blood feud.
Mark Henry also addressed fans cheering for Randy Orton on this week’s show following his recent heel turn, click here to read more.
