Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon joins forces with Sgt. Jim Baxter to search for a serial killer who’s terrorizing Los Angeles. As they track the culprit, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.
Let me just start off by saying this the movie merits at least a one-time watch for all of you Denzel Washington fans. What can I say Denzel is Denzel.
I will be completely honest with you. I really didn’t like this movie. I didn’t find any of the characters in this movie believable. I wanted to find something good to say about this movie but I find it hard to do so. This movie was set in the 90’s and it comes off as one of those cheesy Made-For-TV movies that the 90’s are famous for
To me the only redeeming quality this movie has is Denzel. Don’t get me wrong I like both Malek and Leto, I found their performance lacking at best. I don’t put all the blame on them because neither of them wrote the script and can you blame them for doing this movie, after all, they are actors and do this for a living.
I’ll finish up by saying this, if you are bored and have nothing else to do and need some white noise in your life, then by all means give this movie a shot.
I’d love to read what all of you think about this movie.
Until next time, TTFN (ta ta for now).
