Lizzo is coming to Springfield.
The “About Damn Time” star shared a clip of her guest appearance on Twitter, captioning “THATS ME WEARING @YITTY AND PLAYING SASHA FLUTE ON THEE SIMPSONS. Thank you to @TheSimpsons for making this a dream come true!”
In the clip, the fictionalized version of Lizzo is seen with Lisa, Bart, and Homer in the studio, receiving directions from Lisa to slap her father in the next scene. Animated Lizzo voices her discomfort in physically harming Homer, to which Bart steps in and slaps his father for her.
The clip ends with the superstar playing the flute with Lisa as she plays her saxophone.

It appears the “Special” singer shared the clip too soon, stating on social media she wasn’t supposed to post it and encouraging her fans to tune in this Sunday (May 21) to watch the episode.
